Welcome To Emmy Stanton’s Fine Art
Welcome! I started doing art when I was in Junior High. I then went to Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts in Newark, NJ for two years. I then traveled to Puerto Rico and took classes at the Institute de Cultura. I learned how to use oil paints and watercolors and then found out about Batik in California in 1972. I then went on to make wall hangings, 3 panel screens, designed clothing including; dresses, silk blouses, T-shirts, and silk scarves. I now am back to oil painting and watercolor and am trying out a technique with Batik and watercolor on rice paper.
I am very happy to be back focusing on art. I love to do landscapes, people/portraits, still life’s, etc. I do work from photographs and from life. So, if you have a picture you would like me to paint, I would certainly consider it.
You can order prints of any of the mediums and there are some that are originals. My art work can be printed on paper, fabric, and/or canvas. The sizes and cost are posted with each art work. I will work with you to give you what you are interested in.
